By completing an initial assessment form or booking any service with Your Sleep Support, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. Approach to Sleep Support

Your Sleep Support provides tailored, practical sleep support designed to nurture lifelong healthy sleep habits while promoting secure, responsive attachment relationships.

All plans are:

  • Based on your child’s emotional needs, developmental stage, and family values.

  • Focused on age-appropriate routines, environment, and gentle, responsive strategies.

  • Designed in partnership with you, in alignment with your goals and comfort level.

I am a trained Child Sleep Consultant, but I am not a medical professional and do not diagnose medical conditions. I will signpost where medical input may be appropriate and always recommend ruling out underlying health concerns with your GP or health visitor before beginning sleep work.

2. Parental Responsibility & Expectations

  • Sleep work requires consistency, commitment, and a stable period for implementation. Parents should aim to follow the plan as agreed for best outcomes.

  • I cannot guarantee a child will not cry during sleep changes. However, all methods prioritise emotional responsiveness, and you will be supported to offer comfort and reassurance throughout.

  • Parents remain fully responsible for their child’s safety, care, and wellbeing at all times.

3. Sleep Plans and Support

  • All sleep plans are bespoke, based on individual assessments, and are intended solely for the family they are created for.

  • Do not share your plan with others. Techniques that work for your child may not be appropriate for someone else.

  • Your Sleep Support retains copyright of all materials, which may not be reproduced, published, or distributed without permission.

4. Fees & Cancellations

  • Full payment is required before your consultation or support begins.

  • Once a bespoke sleep plan has been issued, no refunds will be given. This reflects the time, expertise, and preparation involved.

  • If you choose to end support early, no refunds or partial refunds will be offered.

  • Support calls included in your package must be used within 7 days of your support end date. After that time, they are no longer valid and will be charged at the standard rate if needed.

5. Add-Ons and Follow-Up Services

  • If you require a Moving On Guide, it must be purchased within 30 days of your support ending.

  • Additional WhatsApp support must be booked and run immediately following your original support period for continuity. Any gaps may require reassessment and incur extra fees.

6. Confidentiality & GDPR

  • All personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • Your information is confidential and will never be shared without your consent, unless there is a safeguarding or legal obligation to do so.

  • I ask that all sleep consultations, messages, and materials remain confidential and are not shared publicly (including social media). Breach of this agreement may result in immediate termination of support without refund.

7. Safeguarding Statement

I have a duty of care to safeguard the welfare of children and families. If I become concerned about a child’s wellbeing or safety, I may need to share information with relevant agencies such as your GP, health visitor, or local safeguarding team (e.g. MASH), even without your consent, in line with safeguarding legislation.

8. Illness & Postponements

  • If your child becomes unwell and cannot begin sleep work, we can pause support for up to 14 days. After this, a new assessment may be needed, and additional fees may apply.

  • If I become unwell or unable to deliver our support as scheduled, I will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule with minimal disruption.

9. Results & Limitations

  • While my methods are proven to help families improve sleep, results are not guaranteed. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances, consistency, and whether other underlying issues are at play.

  • If sleep does not improve with consistent support, I may advise consulting a GP or other specialist.

10. Legal & Liability

  • Services offered are voluntary and educational in nature.

  • By engaging in services, you agree that responsibility for implementing changes lies with you.

  • You agree to waive and release Lindsey Hanna / Your Sleep Support from liability for any claims or consequences arising from the advice or plans provided, except in cases of proven negligence.

  • You understand your role and responsibility in implementing sleep changes.

  • You acknowledge that services are not a substitute for medical advice.

  • You agree not to share or republish materials or private content related to your support.
